Kesses Member of Parliament Swarup Kiprop Mishra will sponsor a motion in parliament to make public education in boarding secondary schools affordable for all.He said despite the government waiving some amount it is still unaffordable for parents with bright students and come from poor backgrounds.“It is painful to see bright and hardworking students out there frustrated and almost giving up on their dreams due to lack of school fees. As a member of parliament I will soon table a motion that will make boarding secondary school education affordable for all,” he said in Eldoret town, Wednesday.“I want to ensure that every student accesses quality education no matter their financial background since education is the only equalizer between the rich and the poor,” he added.He urged students from poor backgrounds to apply for bursaries from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to pursue their education.“No corruption will be involved in giving out bursaries. Only those students from needy backgrounds will be eligible,” noted Mishra.
