The National Police Service (NPS) has been asked to make changes in Police Stations in Njoro Sub-County, after several complaints of disappearance of people after arrests are made.
Naishi Police Station has more so been on the spotlight, after a businessman arrested from Bagaria recently disappeared mysteriously.
Njoro MP Joseph Kiuna spoke to journalists on Monday in Naishi on the matter, saying there needs to be some change.
"Not only here in Naishi where people are disappearing mysteriously, even in Bagaria. I spoke to CID officers on it and they told me investigations are ongoing," said Kiuna.
Kiuna further noted that h has asked the NPS to ensure the officers from the station are transferred for alleged misconduct.
“Officers here, from constables to their seniors by midday are usually very drunk; they cannot tell day or night. Are these the people we are looking up to for security?" he said.
Mau Narok MCA Irungu Gitonga also echoed Kiuna's sentiments, saying they need a lot changed to have better security and protection.
"If transfers will be carried out, they should not forget here. Police have killed five people for no apparent reason,” said Gitonga.
