The MP, who spoke at Kamwango trading centre on Monday, he said that there is lack of command among security agencies, a situation that has exposed the country to threats.

He noted that having a command centre will ensure that appropriate orders are given out through the right channels.

“There is need for the government to create a central command centre within the security forces,” he said.

Njenga added that the ghost of insecurity will be tackled if appropriate security measures are taken, observing that the country has one of the well trained soldiers and officers in the region who should fight crime and other terror threats.

On the same note, the MP cautioned politicians against using insecurity to cause disunity among Kenyans.

He accused some politicians of taking advantage of the situation to condemn the government, stating that leaders must work together to unravel insecurity mystery.

Njenga further appealed on Kenyans to work with the government so as to win the war against terrorism and related crimes.
