Speaking at Kimani Secondary School on Thursday during the issuing of cheques to beneficiaries of Uwezo Fund, Ngunjiri said that Duale had the names with him and did not disclose them until after the recent attack at the Garissa University.

"We want Duale fully investigated since we think that he knows a lot concerning the terrorism financiers in this country. He should name all the financiers who should then be arrested with immediate effect," Ngunjiri said.

The MP urged the leaders in North Eastern to unite so they can strongly fight terrorism and cases of insecurity in their localities.

Ngunjiri called upon all the security agencies within the country to work together when it comes to fighting terrorism.

"I am kindly requesting the leaders to unite and ensure that when it comes to security issues. There is no opposition or government, all are one and all should ensure that they have a common goal which is to end terrorism in this country", Ngunjiri said.

Ngunjiri supported the ongoing motion of paramilitary training courses for the youth.

"If the youths at Garissa University had some paramilitary training, it would have helped minimise the casualties. I support the youths being equipped with some form of training which they can use when it comes to self-defence," Ngunjiri said.
