On Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta nominated Mombasa advocate Wafula Chebukati as the chairperson pending vetting by parliament and subsequent appointment.

Speaking on Friday at Namanga, Memusi said the results would enable Kenyans know how the top candidates performed in the interview.

“I want to ask Bernadette Musundi to make the results of IEBC chairperson public so that the public knows how they performed. That is the only way of promoting transparency,” he said.

“It is always in order for Kenyans to know how such business is conducted. We want justice to everyone and that is the requirement by the constitution,” he added.

Chebukati’s name had been forwarded by the selection committee to the president alongside Tukero Ole Kina for nominations.
