Nyamira County Women Rep Jerusha Momanyi has urged Governor John Nyagarama to ignore those criticizing his leadership.
The lawmaker said if Nyagarama will continue listening to distractors he will fail to fulfill his promises to the people of Nyamira.
“Nyagarama should not succumb to criticism. Let him work around the clock and fulfill all the promises he gave to the people of Nyamira County during the August 8, 2017 polls,” she said.
Mrs Momanyi said she fully supports Nyagarama as the Nyamira County boss And nothing will change that before 2022.
She challenged elected MP and MCAs in the county to involve people in their areas of administration when launching and initiating new development projects.
“MPs and MCAs should involve the electorates when initiating new development projects so that residents don’t oppose the projects when launched.
"This should be done through public participation and public barazas for the residents to give their views and development ideologies on the projects to be worked on first,” she added.
She promised that she will not ignore women, youths and disabled throughout her tenure.
