Police in Molo have been told to intensify investigations into a dormitory fire incident at Michinda High school with culprits expected to face the full arm of the law.

This is according to area MP Jacob Macharia who believes that involving the students, teachers and the local community would be critical in finding those behind the school's 'arson' attack.

Speaking after leading a high profile delegation from the sub-county education office in accessing the extent of the damage caused by the inferno, the legislature cited student-administration conflict as the main cause of the incident.

 "This is a straight case of arson because all the mattresses were doused in petrol before being set ablaze. It was planned and tactfully executed because the fire spread meticulously as planned," he said.
