Courtesy: The Star]Lugari MP Ayub Savula has cautioned former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba against using the Luhya community to advance his selfish interests.In a telephone interview with The Star Newspaper, Savula accused the Labour Party of Kenya leader of lobbying for a Cabinet Secretary position in the Jubilee administration invoking the Luhya Nation.“He is engaged in childish activism to please his Jubilee masters so that he is rewarded with a Cabinet position,” he remarked.After his shock loss of the Budalang'i parliamentary seat, Namwamba has been actively involved in Jubilee Party campaigns.He rooted for the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta both in the August polls and the October 26 presidential repeat elections.He is currently the chairman of the Council of Professionals of Kenya which is calling for the deregistration of the Opposition coalition NASA.However, Savula dismissed the council as "an amorphous" group for political rejects, with the sole purpose of seeking handouts and political relevance.
