Momanyi said Maangi has no authority to direct Gusii MPs on what they should and not to do.

"Maangi should stop his ill plans he has to succeed his boss Governor James Ongwae. He must respect MPs who have agreed to drop their political differences to serve the people of Nyamira and Kisii counties equally," she noted.

She regretted that Maangi will not succeed in his plans to be Ongwae's successor in 2022.

"There are good and performing leaders who will succeed Ongwae. Maangi should prepare to face the humiliation if he will insist that he will be in the ballot in 2022," she noted.

She called on Gusii MPs not to succumb to fake attacks from some leaders who are opposed to the MPs' move to unite.

Momanyi assured that she is behind the Gusii MPs' move to unite and serve the people of Nyamira and Kisii Counties irrespective of their political affiliations.

"I will not be left behind because I also need to seek support from the male MPs to support more women in 2022 to seek elective posts in the region," she noted.
