According to Kiragu some investors have been doing corrupt deals in their home countries and implicating it on Kenya.

"Kenya is being given a very bad name out there. Some big investors from abroad rob their companies in the name of securing some kick-backs to come and give Kenyan corporations in order to get contracts and tenders but when you look here there isn't such money that was brought," said Kiragu.

Kiragu says that the money ends in the pockets of CEO's of these companies which they later come to invest with here in Kenya individually.

The MP further notes that the investors have created a perception in their home countries that Kenya is a corrupt nation that relies on bribes to give important government tenders and contracts.

"This is something as Kenyans we have to say no to by simply doing the right things. Let us also shun dirty deals even here at home" he said.

He was speaking to journalists in Limuru Town on Wednesday evening.
