An MP allied to the Jubilee party has issued a warning to supporters of the opposition coalition Nasa over their planned demonstrations.
Kiharu legislator Ndindi Nyoro said on Sunday that the protests had since been outlawed in the Central Business District of Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa cities and would thus be met by the full force of the law.
"To those who are keen on staging their demos in the CBDs you'll know that there is a government in place and you will be dealt with accordingly", he said.
Nyoro added that the so called peaceful demonstration by the opposition had degenerated into criminal acts and looting sprees adding that it would be unfortunate to tolerate them.
NASA has however maintained that their daily demonstrations against the IEBC will go on until their demands are addressed even as they told off Interior CS Fred Matiangi for outlawing the demos in the three major cities in the country.
