A lawmaker alllied to the opposition has issued a warning to Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and IG Joseph Boinnet.
According to Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi, the two leaders act in a manner they are above the law.
Speaking on Sunday at his home, Wandayi said the two have been harassing Nasa leaders while disregarding court orders.
"Matiang'i and Boinnet should come out of the illusion that they are somehow above the law by virtue of their positions," he said.
"Regimes come and go but the law will remain. The duo should know their positions are temporary and that they are treading on very dangerous grounds. It's unfortunate that in the recent past the country has experienced a worrying trend that has seen police blatantly disrespect court orders," said Wandayi.
But Wandayi commended the judiciary for standing firm.
