A police driver attached to Turbo MP Elisha Busienei was crushed to death by a tractor Sheller on Sunday.

The accident took place in his Leseru village, Uasin Gishu County.

MP Busienei told the police that Constable Joseph Kipkorir Kiptuiya was shelling maize in his (Kiptuiya) compound using a tractor-mounted Sheller when his loose jacket was caught by the Sheller Shaft, thereby crushing his body.

His body was moved to the local mortuary.

Constable Kiptuiya was attached to Embakasi Police Station in Nairobi.
