Members of the National Assembly have passed a report that could spell doom to the political aspirations of former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru as she bids to be the next Kirinyaga county governor.

The legislators have adopted the multi-million NYS scandal report by the Parliamentary Accounts Committee(PAC) which states that Waiguru should be barred from holding public office due to her alleged involvement in the scam.

Other leaders who could also be affected by the adopted report include former Planning Pribcipal Secretay Joseph Mang'iti and other senior official at the Devolution ministry.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen will also be punished if found culpable.
