Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo has urged Kenyans to remain peaceful ahead of the repeat presidential election slated for October 26.Speaking in Kisauni Town on Friday, the Wiper MP asked Kenyans not to allow politicians’ differences to cause disunity in the country.The MP said the country has to remain peaceful and united before, during and after the repeat presidential election.Mbogo said the country belongs to all Kenyans regardless of their political affiliations hence the need to maintain peace.“We must tolerate each other and preach unity among ourselves even as we prepare to vote in the repeat presidential election,” said Mbogo, as quoted by the Standard.Mbogo urged Kisauni residents and Kenyans in general to pray for peace and political stability. He also urged foreign investors and tourists not to fear visiting the country assuring them of safety.Meanwhile, the MP has urged residents in the constituency to turn out in large numbers and vote for Raila Odinga on October 26, arguing that the NASA presidential candidate has a workable and realistic development agenda for all Kenyans.
