Igembe South Member of Parliament John Paul Mwirigi has vowed to work tirelessly towards President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.
The first time lawmaker who was recently gifted a car by the President was speaking during a Jubilee rally promised that he will be in the front line in ensuring that he scoops all the votes in the populous region.
''I will ensure that President Uhuru Kenyatta scores a hundred percent of all the votes in this region,'' said Mwirigi.
The rally also saw the opposition alliance NASA come under sharp criticism with the President accusing its chief and presidential candidate Raila Odinga of seeking the Presidency through unconstitutional avenues.
He opposed the alliance's use of demonstrations to push for reforms in the IEBC urging its leaders to instead use decent and more constitutional ways.
''The constitution is very clear on how to go about such matters but it is now clear that our competitors are hiding behind the reforms issue with another target in mind.I want to urge them to use the proper way to get to power which is the ballot,'' said Kenyatta.
