Jubilee Party MPs are demanding that the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) strips former Senate Leader of Minority Moses Wetang'ula of privileges which come with the position.
Among the said privileges include an official car provided and fuelled by the taxpayer.
According to National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale, Mr Wetangula still uses the car given to him on the former house yet he has not been named holder of the office in the 12th Parliament.
"I have seen Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula still using the GK vehicle assigned to him when he was the minority leader. We want you to give a ruling on why he and other leaders are still enjoying these privileges," said Mr Duale in a session.
"No one has appointed Wetang'ula as a minority leader," he added.
He said that continued use of such facilities raises a serious audit question that would be borne by the PSC, thus the need by the Speaker to issue direction on the matter.
