The call to end killing has been echoed by four MPs who attended the funeral of a director for Githunguri Constituency Ranching John Waweru who was shot dead last week.

Waweru was killed by unknown gunmen who shot him three times when he was dropping off his company's security manager at his home in Zimmerman.

A number of leaders vehemently condemned the rising killings in the county.

The legislators from Ruiru, Esther Gathogo, Alice Ng'ang'a from Thika and Francis Munyua from Juja town added their disdain in relation to the spate of violent crimes.

At the same time, Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu linked the killings to the leadership wrangles among the directors.

The legislators also called on the Cabinet Secretary for lands Jacob kaimenyi to intervene and make sure the members have been issued with title deeds.

Githunguri Constituency Ranching chairman who was also in attendance appealed to CID boss Ndegwa Muhoro to intervene and apprehend the killers.

Currently, the number of members who have been killed stand at four with more threats being issued to directors of the company.
