Just a day after Cabinet Secretary for Interior and coordination of national government Dr. Fred Matiangi was bashed by COTU boss Francis Atwoli over his claims of biased judicial officers, a section of MPs have come out strongly to defend him.
They said the judiciary should rise above what they termed as judicial activism.
Speaking in Nakuru, Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria, Nakuru senator Susan Kihika and former Subukia MP Nelson Gaichuhie said that the country is getting tired of the way some of the judicial officers carry out theirjob.
"We are tired of this judicial issues, we want to affirm that we are behind CS Matiangi on this. CJ Maraga should ensure they exercise their mandate in a manner that unifies the people of Kenya," Kuria said.
