[Photo|@citizentvkenya]An exercise to swear-in members of the 12th parliament kicked of at 9am, Thursday.Both the Senate and the National Assembly convened at the same time, where clerks of both Houses, Jeremiah Nyegenye (Senate) and Michael Sialai (National Assembly) presided over the ceremony.The clerks are also expected to preside over the election of two speakers, probably from 2pm.For the Senate there are six candidates seeking the post:1. Ekwe Ethuro (the incumbent)2. Farah Maalim3. Ken Lusaka4. Dr James Gesami5. Paul Ribathi6. Rameshchandra Gorasia. In the National Assembly, there are only two Candidates: 1. Justin Muturi (incumbent)2. Dr Noah Awinja
