Days after meeting Deputy President William Ruto, two legislators from Nyamira now want him to respect peace deal between Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
The firebrand DP has been hosting delegations of elected leaders and has made it clear that he will not allow any constitutional changes.
And Borabu MP Ben Momanyi and his West Mugirango counterpart Vincent Kemosi have faulted Ruto's opposition to constitutional amendments, saying that he is ill informed.
"I disagree with the DP because he now want to look like anti-progressive force. Our country needs healing and that can happen if we amend the constitution," Momanyi said.
On his part, Kemosi said constitutional amendments would reduce ethnic competition in the country's political arena.
"We all need these changes to reduce unnecessary competitions. Everyone should be brought on board," he added.
