The Albinism Society of Kenya (ASK) is set to hold a Mr and Miss Albinism competition in Nairobi for the first time.

The function is aimed to fight the stigma associated with to Albinism condition.

Titled “Beauty Beyond The Skin”, the function that will be held on October 21 at the Carnivore grounds will be presided over by Deputy President William Ruto. 

ASK plans to raise money to run programs such Imarisha Masomo, Miwani Mashinani, Linda Ngozi, Cancer treatment and counseling services.

Entry tickets for the event will go at Sh1 000 while the VIP will go at Sh3 000 -VIP.
