Under Machakos county children's welfare program, Machakos first lady Lilian Nganga has brought smiles to the faces of destitute and vulnerable children.
In less than four months, Lilian has visited more than five children centres in Machakos county.
While visiting Alfalah children's home in Machakos county last month, she urged the residents of Machakos to extend a helping hand to the needy.
Alfalah children's home poaches and rehabilitates street kids. On March 12, Lilian visited and spent time with the kids at Machakos rescue centre and on March 25, the same month she celebrated Easter at Machakos school for the deaf.
She stresses need to touch a needy child's heart. On April 15, she visited Terry's child and Youth resource centre in Kathiani sub-county.
Machakos First lady, who has also been campaigning for cancer awareness in the county, seems to have a lot of compassion towards abandoned kids.
