Police have arrested three people in line with the killing of IEBC official Chris Msando and his female companion.
This is after police said that their lead revealed Msando had been spotted on Friday night at Club 7 along Koinange Street with the lady and another man.
According to The Standard, the man left earlier but the two left at around 1am.
Highway surveillance cameras later caught Msando's Land Rover Discovery of registration number KCB 262Q at the Uhuru Highway/Haile Selassie Avenue roundabout and later at Bunyala Road/Uhuru Highway junction going towards Mombasa Road.
Police statements say the unidentified man last seen with the duo could help unravel the killings.
However, police say that the three people in custody will be paraded today for identification.
Police have also requested mobile phone operators to track his last communication and identify the people he spoke to before meeting his death.
"We understand (Msando) was on phone most of the time he was captured on camera and even sent messages to his colleagues and some friends. The data from the phones will be helpful," said an official aware of the probe.
"We are following certain crucial leads that we believe could lead to the eventual arrest and prosecution of the murderers," said police boss Joseph Boinnet.
