The National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga visited the family of the late Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT Manager Chris Msando, Tuesday evening, in Nyayo estate, Nairobi, to comfort it.
During the visit, Msando’s six-year-old son, Alvin Mitch, after greeting Raila, he asked him on who murdered his father and what was their reason.
“Who killed my father and why?” Alvin posed the question as quoted by Standard.
According to the daily, everyone in the room upon hearing the question from the class two pupil, froze for some time.
Nasa politicians senator James Orengo and Rarieda MP-elect Otiende Amollo who had accompanied the ODM leader could not hold their tears either.
In his response after struggling to find words, Raila finally told Alvin the killers have not yet been known. He however assured him the culprits would be brought to book.
“We are trying our best to find your father’s killers and I promise you we shall. Your father was a great person,” said Odinga.
The boy noted the killers of his dad are under god’s watch.
“Whoever did it, God is watching you,” Alvin is further quoted by the daily.
The former prime minister then addressed the press noting that Msando’s death had something to do with the just concluded elections.
