The family of the late Chris Msando, who was the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT manager says that they need justice over their son's murder.
Msando's mother Mary Aloo claimed that the government is so silent over her son's death.
Speaking to a local Radio Station, the ailing mother said that she has been listening to radio daily hoping to hear any news about his son but all in vain."I have been listening daily hoping to hear that those who killed my son have been arrested but all in vain. My son was killed on July 29 and his body dumped in a forest in Kikuyu, Kiambu County. Now we are in October. How long will it take the government to investigate and arrest those who killed my son?" She said. The mother is still feeling the pain of losing her son who was her bread-winner. She said that she would like to see those who killed her son before she dies. She added that she cannot do anything wrong or a revenge to the murderers but would just like to see them."I would like to set my eyes on those who did that to my son before I die. I know that my life is now too short because it was Chris who was taking me to hospital but now he is no more."The mother said that she wished those people would arrest her son and keep him in jail in stead of killing him.
"I want to know who killed my son and why. If he made any mistake they would have tried him in the court of law and jailed him. And if he stole anything I would have sold my entire property to pay so as to save his life,” she said adding that the son’s demise has messed her life as he was taking care of her."Chris Msando was a loving family man, who cherished and adored his wife and children."
