Nominated MP and former Bondo lawmaker Oburu Odinga has warned Deputy President William Ruto to be prepared for a rude shock in 2022 during which he is supposed to vie for the Presidency.
Speaking at Dadra village in Ugenya constituency on Saturday, Dr Oburu said he is sure the DP will suffer the same fate that the Cord leader and Mudavadi have gone through.
According to the lawmaker, both Raila and Mudavadi have been duped into forming ineffective alliances which ended up being breached.
"Last time, Uhuru and his cohorts cheated Mudavadi that they are going to make him a presidential candidate, and the next day, they were claiming that he is a mysterious devil that appeared out of nowhere," Oburu said.
The legislator was also quick to laud Raila and Mudavadi for the effort they have made in the formation of the proposed National Super Alliance (NASA) which the opposition-allied parties want to use as a vehicle to wrestle power from Jubilee.
"I am very sure that Ruto will also suffer the same blow that Raila and Mudavadi have suffered. I have heard he is being positioned by Jubilee as a Presidential candidate in 2022, let him ask Raila what happened to him after declaring 'Kibaki Tosha," he added.
