A group calling itself Mount Kenya Youth Alliance is now calling upon NASA leaders Raila Odinga and his co-principals to shelf their swearing-in plans set of Tuesday.
Speaking in Nairobi, the group, led by its chairman Simon Mwenda is however urging the government not to unleash police terror on NASA supporters.
They have further added that should Raila and Kalonzo insist to go on with the planned ceremony, they should be allowed to do so without any interference.
“If you want to be happy just because you have been sworn in, get it done and go back home, but know that your work is done and you should leave the leadership to the country’s youth, and accept, because you are looking for an exit plan,” said Mwenda.
"If Raila wants to be sworn in, please do not go engaging him in running battles, let him swear whatever he will swear, and he will go to his Karen home and retire," he added.
