The management of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret has warned members of the public not to fall into the trap of social media fraudsters claiming they will offer them job vacancies in the hospital.

Speaking in his office the hospital CEO Dr. Wilson Aruasa said many people have been misled by fall in formations being spread in social media claiming the hospital is offering job vacancies in various departments in the hospital which is false.

The CEO pointed out that  the hospital has the procedures to follow when advertising   job vacancies and there’s no any fees charged, according to Aruasa the  misleading information in social media domain claiming that the hospital charges a certain amount of money  so that the person can be considered for interviews

“I would like to inform members of the public not to fall victims to  social media fraudsters who extort money from members of the public who are innocent people,” he said.

However, Aruasa added that the matter is in police hands and all the data has been retrieved and the investigations is underway

“The police have taken over the matter the misleading data has been retrieved and soon culprits will be apprehended,” added Aruasa.
