ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru and Deputy President William Ruto have dismissed claims by Cord leaders that they are influencing the next elections.

This is after Siaya senator James Orengo and his Machakos counterpart Johnstone Muthama alleged Ruto and MUcheru held a secret meeting inorder to influence the next general election.

"The allegations by Orengo and Muthama are malicious, false and baseless and should be treated with the contempt they deserve.They have no evidence to prove what they are saying because what they are accusing us of is not true and they know it," said Mucheru.

The CS assured the country that the next polls will be credible.
