NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's pronouncements during the state of the nation address on Wednesday where he outlined his government's commitment to end the drug menace in the country.
Mudavadi speaking to KTN on Wednesday night said that this was an indication that there was going to be a serious onslaught on drug trafficking.
"Clearly these are positive pronouncements and positive move because we do not want drugs to ruin our society," said Mudavadi.
He, however, warned against using the drug war to target 'some people' wrongly.
"We must see a legitimate process that is done in a lawful manner so that it is not something that is used in any way to victimise some people. But I agree as a member of the opposition that the war against drug must be won," he added.
