Former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu has hit out at NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi for attacking him for defecting to Jubilee Party.Chanzu vied on Musalia's ANC party ticket for Vihiga governorship during the August 8 general elections.On Sunday, Musalia criticised Chanzu's move to President Uhuru Kenyatta's party, likening him to an estranged lover who remarries immediately without consulting kinsmen and using his marital problems in the former relationship to seek solutions."Someone cannot come to your home, take your wife as his, and then also invite you to his home to be his groundsman. How will you feel seeing your wife in the bedroom with the other man?" Mudavadi posed.But speaking when he received Deputy President William Ruto into Vihiga County on Wednesday, Chanzu said did not defect to Jubilee to look for a job but to ensure residents are in government."Personally, I have been an MP for 15 years. If there is anything I wanted to achieve in life, I have already achieved it. I'm satisfied with the work I have done for the people of Vihiga as their legislator," he said.The former MP vowed to conduct intensive campaigns for the ruling party to ensure Uhuru is reelected."I will ensure the President gets five times the votes he got in the last election. NASA should know Vihiga has moved to Jubilee," Chanzu added.
