Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on the Coast region to support the formation of National Super Alliance, which is set to bring together CORD, ANC and other parties.
Speaking when he visited Faza Island in Lamu on Friday, Mudavadi said that the proposed alliance would address historical injustices and land issues in the country, poor level of education, poor roads, health, tourism and other problems.
He accused the Jubilee government of gambling with the lives of Kenyans saying the county should not be subjected to another five years of mismanagement.
“The National Super Alliance or Muungano Maalum is not the traditional coalition we are used to. Jubilee has been the worst Kenya’s disaster and we need a force that will change that,” he was quoted by the Daily Nation.
Mr Mudavadi urged Lamu residents to cooperate with ANC and embrace an all-inclusive leadership that the super alliance was offering to change the fate of Kenyans.
“Our alliance has broad objectives in terms of membership and post-election agenda,” he said.
“Our administration will be based on transparency, accountability, participation, devolution of power and resources, equality and equity. The government shall promote the rule of the law, good governance, human rights, constitution and inclusivity,” he said.
