The 'mother of all coalitions' could be in the offing after Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi confirmed that he has been holding talks with ODM chief Raila Odinga with a view to form an alliance that will take on Jubilee in 2017.

Acording to Mudavadi, negotiations are in top gear and that they would soon reach an agreement on the new arrangement which he believes will be a game changer in Kenya's political arena.

The former Vice President confirmed at Lugabaya during his two-day trip to the coast to market his political outfit.

"We are still in dialogue to form a super alliance to win votes," Mudavadi was quoted by the Star.

Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi who accompanied Mudavadi noted that opposition can be sure of winning the forthcoming elections if they join forces and come up with a powerful coalition even as routed for Mudavadi support should the formation of alliance materialize.

This comes at a time when Cord is plagued by perpetual wrangling over Presidential bearer debate, a trend that is threatening to tear the coalition apart with only 10 months to the 2017 polls.
