Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has responded to reports linking him to the recently formed Jubilee party.
Mudavadi's response comes at a time when Deputy President William Ruto suggested that the former lawmaker could be his running mate in 2022.
The former Deputy Premier who was speaking in Mumias on Monday clarified that he had no association with the outfit.
He affirmed that his party was representing the Luhya community and no external distraction could sway him from vying for the presidency in 2017.
According to Mudavadi, the duo of President Uhuru and Ruto duped him into signing a deal that would see him vie for the presidency in 2013.
He has, therefore, vowed never to work with the two again.
