Speaking during a Nasa rally in his Vihiga turf on Saturday, the Amani National Congress party leader decried the voting patters in Nasa strongholds saying it was to blame for their dismal performance in general elections.
"The turnout here is normally low despite the high number of voters that we have. And that is why they (Jubilee)keep defeating us.Where we register a 60% turnout they rregister 80% and that works against our favour. You must turn out in large numbers this time," he said.
The former vice president also lampooned president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto terming them as dishonest politicians who must be voted out.
"Do not forget how they duped me and called me names. They called me are demon but I'm now out to prove them otherwise through Nasa," he said at the rally which was also graced by presidential candidate Raila Odinga,Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and Vihiga county chief Moses Akaranga among other leaders.
