ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has headed to his Western backyard for the first time since the opposition coalition lost the August 8 presidential election.
Mudavadi was in Kisumu county yesterday to attend the burial of murdered former IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando.
The NASA founder is on Sunday expected to meet all MCAs elected on ANC tickets from the four counties of the former Western province in Kakamega.
This will be his first to travel outside Nairobi after August 8.
“The party leader is expected to congratulate the MCAs-elect and hold discussions on how to push the party’s legislative agenda in the four county assemblies,” said ANC secretary general Godfrey Osotsi as reported by the Star.
He is also expected to strategise on strengthening ANC in the region.
In Western, ANC was the biggest winner in the General Election after bagging 11 of the 33 MP seats.
