Speaking during an interview with KBC TV, Mudavadi assured their supporters of reaching a compromise as NASA on a candidate to face off with Jubilee's candidate in the upcoming polls.

"I am the brain child of NASA and I am ready to sacrifice for the sake of our unity," he said.

"I want to assure our supporters that we are going to agree on a candidate to battle it with President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8th polls," he added.

He also insisted that unity for the opposition was key in ensuring they win the August polls, adding that they will work as a team to ensure that victory goes to the opposition after the polls.

"For us to deliver victory, the four of us (Kalonzo, Raila, Mudavadi and Wetang'ula) and any other Kenyan interested in the NASA flag, we must work as a team," said the former Vice President.

"In a team of football, eleven aside, it does not matter who score the goal but what matters is a victory for the team. It is the interest of the team first then individual interest can follow," he added.
