Mudavadi, who was installed Luhya spokesperson recently, has been pushing for a united opposition front dubbed National Super Alliance which will be launched soon.

The two leaders accused Central Organisation for trade unions Secretary General Francis Atwoli of imposing Mudavadi to Luhya adding that he would not add value to the opposition team.

"Mudavadi is used by Jubilee to hold us at ransom. He was just forcefully imposed on Luhya by Atwoli to scuttle the opposition. He has never stopped working with Jubilee," said Wetangula.

"We all understand that Atwoli and Ayub Suvula have been working with Jubilee government and nothing has changed. He should be avoided for the sake of safety in the opposition," added Khalwale.

Their remarks comes even as the opposition plans to host its aspirants at the Bomas of Kenya on Wednesday, with also an indication that NASA will be launched later on this month in Mombasa.
