Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has lashed out at a section of politicians who stormed Moi University protesting the appointment of Prof. Laban Ayiro as the acting VC.
Mudavadi took issue with Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago and his Elgeyo Marakwet counterpart Alex Tolgos for leading the protest.
The former deputy premier termed the politician's actions as discriminatory to Kenyans.
“All Kenyans have the constitutional right to work anywhere,” he said.
Mudavadi who was speaking on Sunday said that the leaders were fanning tribalism in the country.
The two county bosses led Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter in demanding the ouster of Ayiro.
On Thursday, Interior CS Joseph Nkaisserry ordered the leaders to apologise for their actions or be prosecuted by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission.
