This is after a meeting on Tuesday, where ANC National Executive Council (NEC) decided not to punish Senators George Khaniri(Vihiga), Cleophas Malala (Kakamega) and Nominated MP George Otsotsi.

The three legislators were vocal supporters of Raila Odinga's swearing-in at UhuruPark and were present at the event that was snubbed by ANC leader MusaliaMudavadi.

After the event, the legislators criticised Mudavadi over his decision to skip the January 30 event.

ANC's decision to let the vocal lawmakers walk free was reportedly informed by fears of a backlash from supporters.

Mudavadi had earlier affirmed that hat indiscipline would not be tolerated in the party.

He said that such cases would dent his 2022 presidential ambitions.

Malala and Osotsi had vowed not to appear before the disciplinary committee as they had earlier been directed.
