Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused opposition chief Raila Odinga of hatching a plan to kill the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.
Mudavadi who spoke in Bungoma on Sunday alongside Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula said ODM's decision to unite with Jubilee was not done in good faith and may end up killing the NASA dream.
Although he did not directly hit out at Raila, his sentiments, with reference to the recent meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila signified that the opposition chief does not mean well for NASA.
"NASA is an idea owned by the people. You cannot kill an idea embedded in people," Mudavadi, the former Sabatia MP said.
"The path for NASA is clear; carry the voice of the people. Our agenda remains electoral reforms and all inclusive dialogue for the people and by the peoples representatives."
ANC, the party he leads has been at the forefront criticising Raila's decision to meet Uhuru in the absence of other NASA co-principals- Wiper's Kalonzo Msyoka, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and Mudavadi himself.
The meeting that took place at President Uhuru Kenyatta's Harambee House office has raised a storm within NASA with political analysts foreseeing a possible fallout between the principals.
