Amani National Congress(ANC) Musalia Mudavadi has said that the National Super Alliance(NASA) was formed for the sake of all Kenyans. Speaking at the Wajir Stadium, Mudavadi said that the alliance does not belong to Cord Leader Raila Amolo Odinga, Wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka or Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula.
"Let them try and we will show them that Nasa belongs to Kenyans but not any individual. It does not belong to Raila, Wetang'ula or Kalonzo but all Kenyans,” he said as quoted by Nation.
The former Deputy President also said that Northern Advocacy for Sustainable Agriculture will not force them to disband the alliance over the use of the acronym NASA, adding that going to court is only making the alliance more popular as the next general polls draw closer.
"Who has ever taken anyone to court because of a name? Why haven't other institutions like Jubilee Insurance sued Jubilee Party because of the name? This individual needs to be serious," he added.
Wiper Party Patron Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka launched against the state over the implementation of the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission ( TJRC) report.
Kalonzo said National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has not shown any commitment to ensure that report is implemented.
Speaking at the Wajir Stadium, Kalonzo said that Duale has not used his influence to seek for justice on behalf of the Wagalla. The former Vice President noted that it is clear that the Jubilee government does not have the interest of the people at heart.
"If indeed Duale is from this region, he has a responsibility to ensure that the mass killings that occurred in Wagalla are brought to light for the sake of justice. That is a clear indication that Jubilee has no good intention,” he said.
