According to Mudavadi, NASA is aimed at incorporating all other groups like trade unions and other sectors in the country to come up with an all round government for the people.

Mudavadi made the remarks on Citizen TV on Tuesday night during an interview. Mudavadi further expressed confidence that NASA was going to send Jubilee home for failing to live up to the expectations of the people since their election in 2013.

"NASA is not a coalition only aimed at bringing political parties together. NASA is going to bring all other sectors to play in the drive to unseat Jubilee government in 2017. Trade unions, business groups, the media and other sectors will be incorporated in the formulation of structures to unseat Jubilee in 2017," Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi also ruled out the possibility of NASA joining hands with Jubilee government.

He claimed that the current government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto had already soiled itself through major failures such as corruption, insecurity and other shortcomings.

He however said he would support another presidential candidate from the opposition if the person was geared towards unseating Jubilee from power.

"NASA will not work with Jubilee any time soon. This is because the government has already soiled itself with things like corruption and it would be inappropriate to work with them. However, if NASA worked with the opposition for 2017 elections, I would support any presidential candidate put forth by the opposition team," added Mudavadi.
