According to Mudavadi, their aim is not to monopolize power but to share it, and insisted it is a position the opposition must take if they acquire power in August 8th.
"We are not ashamed to say we will be sharing power, and there is nothing to be ashamed about that. NASA is not a movement to monopolize power, it is a movement to share power and that is our position," he said during the launch of the NASA alliance on Wednesday in Lavington, Nairobi.
"I am urging the opposition not be ashamed of saying we are looking for power, even our opponents, Jubilee, are looking for the same. The problem is they have monopolized power," he added.
The former Sabatia MP also said it will be a heavy task for a NASA government to reduce the debt that has been put on the head of Kenyans through over borrowing.
"The main uphill task that we will have as a NASA government is reducing the debt that the Jubilee government has imposed on Kenyans by over borrowing," he said.
