This is after Mumias East MP Benjamin Washaili claimed that Odinga had sent an MP to convince Mudavadi drop his presidential ambition and instead vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
Through his spokesperson Kibisu Kabatesi, Mudavadi stated that the claims were meant a Jubilee plot to scuttle the formation of NASA.
"There has never been such a visit and claims by Washiali are part of Jubilee propaganda to confuse Luhya support for Mudavadi," said Kabatesi in a statement on Tuesday.
Mudavadi has over the recent days been urging opposition supporters to come together and form the National Super Alliance that will face off with Jubilee in 2017.
