Photo/courtesyAs the National Super Alliance, we have achieved the need to stay united, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi has said.Announcing the coalition’s political roadmap for the August poll at Uhuru Park in Nairobi, Mudavadi today told opposition supporters that when he came up with the NASA idea, he had Kenya in mind and not his self-interests.“When I formed NASA, I never had me in mind, I had we, you, us and Kenya in mind”, Mudavadi said.He articulated that it did not matter who “had the ball first”. As a team member, he continued, he had passed the ball to one who had the advantage to bring victory to the opposition outfit.ODM’s Raila Odinga was named the opposition flag bearer and will have Wiper party’s Kalonzo Musyoka as running mate.Mudavadi (ANC) will serve as the Premier Cabinet Secretary heading the Coordination of Government if NASA makes it against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.Senate Minority Leader Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto (CCM) will be deputy cabinet premiers responsible for Economic Sector Coordination and Governance, and Social Services respectively.NASA has an insatiable crave to dethrone Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.Led by its presidential candidate (Raila Odinga) and his running mate (Kalonzo Musyoka), all the three remaining principals of the alliance (Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula, Isaac Ruto) argue that the Jubilee regime has mismanaged the country.They claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta has led a regime full of biased development initiatives; the harsh economic environment that is coupled with high commodity prices, unaffordable education costs, the poor state of the country’s health care and poor remuneration for the doctors and teachers.Mudavadi said NASA will seek to restore governance virtues in the country.Among key issues, the outfit agitates for is a creation of an attractive environment for the creation of jobs for youths across the country.
