NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has been ordered to apologize to IG Joseph Boinnet.
This is after Mudavadi claimed that Boinnett had informed his relative that the governmnet was planning to switch off KIEMS during the Tuesday general election.
Through spokesman George Kinoti, Boinett said the accusation is false, lacks evidence and is "clearly aimed" at casting aspersions on the character of the IG.
"Mudavadi should unconditionally retract his false and defamatory statements and issue a public apology and declaration that the allegation referred to are false and defamatory," he said.
"This is necessary to undo the damage these malicious statements have caused, failure of which Boinnet will have the right to seek legal redress," added Kinoti.
