The Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader was demystifying the claims that Nasa is dead and said that the coalition was still strong. He said that the idea of forming Nasa was as a result of having reflected on the problems the country has been facing.

Speaking at an interview with a local daily newspaper, The Standard, Mudavadi said that Nasa was an idea owned by the people of Kenya and will not collapse but rather remains the opposition in the country.

The NASA principal was referring to the idea of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) agreement to work with the government but promised that NASA was still strong.

"Of course one child has eloped, but the household can not collapse. Therefore NASA remains the opposition in Kenya," he confirmed.

Mr. Mudavadi assured NASA supporters that the coalition will continue to pursue its agenda of voicing the problems of the people.

"You can not kill an idea embedded in people. The path for NASA is clear; carry the voice of the people," Mudavadi promised.

The ANC party leader has lined up rallies in Vihiga, Bungoma, Nandi, and Kakamega this weekend.
