Opposition coalition NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has called on the Western Kenya region to turn up in their numbers during the forthcoming polls.
Speaking on Saturday in Vihiga County, Mudavadi pleaded with locals to rally behind the coalition's presidential candidate Raila Odinga, noting that the former Prime Minister means well for the country.
He accused the Jubilee adminstration of neglecting the community and the country at large through their four and half year tenure.
“Don’t let me down after struggling to create an alliance that has united all Kenyans. Come out strongly and vote the Jubilee government out,” he stated.
“The win we want must be respected not only locally, but also internationally. And youths who constitute over nine million voters should be at the forefront to steer change," he added.
His remarks were reiterated by NASA's co-principals, who called on the residents to vote out the Jubilee adminstration.
The region is largely viewed as an Opposition stronghold.
